An anthological film of the seventy years of history of the chemical company Montecatini, from the first mines to the production of nitrogen using the Fauser patent, through to the creation of chemical nitrite fertilisers and plastic materials, to pharmaceutical products and synthetic fibres.

An unknown author, dated in the period between the two world wars, this film has been kept in the Library of the Natural History Museum of city of Milan. It is probably of an expedition carried out in collaboration with the museum of western Eritrea.

We have received from Teche Rai and are pleased to publish, with the authorization of the archives of the Falck Group, the historical documentary “I Falck”: the story of the men and the factory of this great steelworks in Sesto San Giovanni, which was one of the major protagonists of the industrialisation of Milan and Italy in the 1900s.
Produced by RaiTre for the series “La storia siamo noi”, directed by Giovanni Minoli, broadcast in July 2009, the documentary shows for the first time film and photographs from the archives, together with interviews with managers and workers, alongside comments from academics of the Institute of Contemporary History in Sesto San Giovanni.

We are happy to publish this video that we have received from the Department of Psychology of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore about the instruments from the famous Laboratory of Experimental Psychology created by the founder of the Università Cattolica of Milan, Father Agostino Gemelli, which form the nucleus of the new Museum of the Laboratory Father Gemelli, which was inaugurated at the Department of Psychology, in via Necchi, on the 50th anniversary of his death.
